I didn’t get into the publishing industry to try to make a bunch of money. My goal has always been to earn enough to be able to publish my second book, and hopefully a third 🙂 To be honest, I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. I was a bit too aggressive with my first print run of Mama’s Purse. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t regret making the decision to be an indie author. I have made new friends, established great contacts with other authors, won some awards, and got my book into local bookstores and libraries, which was important to me. I’ve been trying a few new things lately to try to keep the momentum going with my first book, so that I can afford to publish my second children’s picture book: Millie Lou’s Moo Juice. The one that I’m the most excited about is Thunderclap. The potential to give my book exposure is HUGE. I’m not asking you to buy my book, but you can help me out immensely simply by clicking on my Thunderclap campaign link and sharing my campaign on your social media (by clicking on the facebook and twitter buttons). If I can get 100 supporters (folks who share my campaign on social media) by November 4th, my campaign will launch and be visible to thousands of people. Thank you for your support!
